Its
front cover has an artwork of the Philippine Senate’s coat of arms. In bold letters,
its title explains what the thick brown book is: a comprehensive reviewer of
the 1987 Philippine Constitution. It has small pieces of red, yellow, blue,
green, and orange plastic sheets sticking out of the top and right sides. Its
cover is wrapped in a protective plastic sheet so that it looks clean, shiny,
and unharmed. The inside pages are underlined and colored in various shades of
neon yellow, neon orange, and neon green, and many other shades of color a
highlight could be. It smells like pesticide.
