- sound of flushing toilet bowl water
- air con
- the train
- crowd noise
- footsteps on even, tiled floors
- typing sounds (fingers on keyboard)
- the elevator's bell ring
- the doorbell
- music from my iPod
- that nice "tapping" sound the library's book scanner makes (not a beep)
- chairs being pushed around (chairs scratching the floor and bumping on tables)
- the sound of palm hitting arm
- the sound of breathing
The mechanical pitter-patter of tapping on a board of buttons makes a drizzling sound. The rhythmic drizzling sound pattern, not made by a drizzle or anything wet that rushes down, makes a clatter in a quiet library. As fingertips hit tiny solid squares of an object, the action creates the shaking sound of marbles in a jar.
