3.3 A Trampoline with a Few Objects on It (Hearing)

The round, pizza-shaped object stood on the ground with its five stub-like feet supporting its weight. A blue plastic-like material wrapped its crust, and a black net-like film occupied the rest of its middle. A few objects lay on it--a black leather bag, a folded-up cardboard box, a few pads of yellow paper, two five-pound dumbbells, and a basketball--and the middle portion and crust of the pizza-shaped object was covered with dust. The object measured to about three and a half feet in diameter.

It made a distinct creaking sound when bounced on. The creaking sound is caused by metal springs that attach the round, net-like center to the blue crust. With a couple of objects sitting on top of it, a small movement of any kind would cause objects to bump into each other and clank. The two dumbbells would collide with the sound of one hitting one's head on a solid surface like a wall. The cardboard box would hop with a flickering sound, as that of fingers tapping on a computer keyboard.
