Headline: Think Positive: Trillanes kina Estrada at Revilla: ngumiti, magtiis
Taking no account of the real issue, I thought that the headline story read funny. It seemed like a scene wherein two new criminals enter the prison cells and a person from within the cells welcomes them warmly with a smile. The two new prisoners meet this older prisoner with shocked faces. The older prisoner cheers on them and says "Welcome to the circus!" Keeping in mind that these people may have known each other from previous affiliations, it seemed a funny scene because of the welcome. It reminded me of some cartoon shows I've watched as a kid.
Two newly-convicted murderers named Estrada and Revilla walk into the dungeon-like city jail, accompanied by a band of police officers. As they walk in, they survey the scene of the place. It was definitely not a pleasant place to be. It was dusty, eerie, and it smelled worse than rotten liver. Estrada hangs his head low, and Revilla squints at the sight of a man urinating on the floor. Cockroaches crawl around mats on the ground where people sleep on. Some beds were as filthy as ever, with damp, soggy mattresses and tattered blankets. They enter one of the cells and get locked in.
Inside that cell, they encounter a familiar face in the next cell. That other person's name is Trillanes. Trillanes flashes an evil grin at them and says "At last, you've finally come... This is twenty years of your life in hell!" Both new prisoners look at him and then ignore him. They just sit on the ground, squashing each cockroach that came their way.
